Colombia rebels attack town twice in week

Marxist rebels with homemade rockets on Sunday attacked the same town they bombarded three days earlier, killing at least one police officer, authorities said. Arquimedes Vitronas, mayor of Toribio, 240 miles southeast of the capital, said nearly all of the 3,000 villagers fled as the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, renewed its assault on the town.
