Leaders of anti-narcotics agencies from 70 countries on Tuesday opened a three-day conference aimed at strengthening international cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking and money laundering. Chilean Interior Minister Jose Miguel Insulza said such cooperation is essential, especially because of the clear danger that drug trafficking gangs may associate with terrorist organizations.
