Marxist rebels ambushed a police patrol on a key highway in western Colombia, detonating a roadside bomb and spraying the officers’ vehicle with gunfire in an attack that killed three officers and a civilian, police said. Another six officers were wounded in the ambush staged by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia near Coello, 50 miles west of the capital, said Gen.
