Twenty corpses, including those of civilians and women, were found in a remote valley near the Syrian border today, a day after 15 headless bodies were discovered south of Baghdad, Iraqi officials said. The bodies were discovered by a sheperd near Qaim, 250 miles northwest of Baghdad near the Syrian border, a hospital official said. Some had been shot in the head, but it was not immediately clear whether any of the bodies had been decapitated, or whether any belonged to Iraqi Army and police officers, who have often been targets of large-scale killings by insurgents.Full Story
