Three grade-school boys were killed by a landmine in central Colombia while playing in a field, authorities said. The children – two brothers and a playmate aged 5 to 9 – died Monday from the explosion in a field outside the town of Vistahermosa, some 200 kilometers (120 miles) southeast of Bogota.
