Leftist rebels dynamited a ranch belonging to Jorge Anaya Hernandez, the governor of the northern Colombian province of Sucre, officials said Monday. The attack on the “Mula” ranch, located outside the small town of Since, was carried out over the weekend by Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) fighters. The rebels set off explosive charges on the governor’s ranch and later carried out a similar attack against the “Nueva Ley” ranch belonging to cattleman Carlos Perez D’Luis, who was the victim last year of similar attacks on three of his properties.
