Venezuela harbors rebels, Colombia says

The feud between Colombia and Venezuela intensified Monday after Bogota accused its neighbor of harboring Colombian guerrilla leaders and of tolerating rebel military camps along their border. In a statement issued late Sunday, Colombian President Alvaro Uribe said the government would provide evidence that Venezuelan authorities gave protection to Rodrigo Granda, a top official of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC. Uribe said his government also would reveal the names of seven other rebel leaders allegedly in Venezuela as well as the location of “various camps.” Full Story
