Australian police and intelligence agents have helped foil a number of terror attacks in neighbouring Indonesia, said the country’s top police officer. Federal Police Commissioner Mick Keelty was speaking after Australia said it had “credible new information” of a fresh attack in Indonesia. He told Australian radio that a large number of people have been arrested, and bombings have been prevented. “We actually know the extent and reach of groups like Jemaah Islamiyah. We know a lot more about some of the groups working out of the southern Philippines,” he said, without elaborating. Full Story
