The government is investigating allegations that federal Transportation Security Administration employees brought firearms to work at the Medford airport on three occasions, once when President Bush visited in October. Moreover, two airport employees say they were disciplined for reporting one of the incidents. One worker was fired and the other remains on administrative leave, the Mail Tribune newspaper reported in its Thursday editions. The incidents are the latest in a string of problems with security personnel at the airport. Two guards hired by the airport were fired this year after they were found napping.
