Pakistan Arrests an Afghan Militant
The leader of a Taliban splinter group accused of kidnapping three United Nations workers in Afghanistan in October has been arrested in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi, state-run news media reported Saturday. Akbar Agha, the leader of a group called Jaish-e-Muslimeen, or Army of Muslims, was arrested along with his family, Pakistan’s information minister, Sheik Rashid Ahmed, said in a televised interview.Full Story
