France says it is ready to release the medical records of late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat to his nephew, who is due in Paris on Friday. French officials have declined to give the files to Palestinian leaders, saying that only family are entitled to the see them under French privacy laws. But a senior Palestinian said he expected Arafat’s nephew, Nasser al-Kidwa, to release the report. The cause of Arafat’s death last week has not yet been disclosed.
