Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat is suffering from a brain haemorrhage, a top aide has told reporters in the West Bank town of Ramallah. Tayeb Abdel Rahim said Mr Arafat started bleeding on Monday evening and was now in a critical condition. Officials at the hospital near Paris where Mr Arafat is being treated had earlier said his coma had deepened.
