The ambassador to Paris of the Central African Republic, Nestor Kombot-Naguemon, a former government minister, committed suicide on Tuesday at his home in the French capital, police said. Kombot-Naguemon, who had been suffering from a serious illness for several months, threw himself out of a window of his home in the fashionable 16th district of the city, a police spokesperson said, without giving further details.
