An Islamic militant group said it had beheaded a Turkish contractor and his Iraqi translator in Iraq for working with U.S. forces there, Al Jazeera television reported on Monday. The station aired scenes from a video by the Army of Ansar al-Sunna group showing the Turk standing between two masked militants. Al Jazeera said the group killed the two men after they “confessed” to having cooperated with U.S. forces. The television said they would not air the entire beheading video, which it said it had obtained from a Web site, because it was too gruesome. The Army of Ansar al-Sunna has kidnapped and killed several hostages in the past, including 12 Nepali men, three Iraqi Kurds and an Iraqi contractor. Full Story
