Muslim leaders will protest over the Government’s handling of Kenyan hostages in Iraq if they are allowed to meet President Kibaki, who arrives today for a day’s visit. The Council of Imams and Preachers of Kenya was yesterday pressing for talks with the President, who is scheduled to open the Mombasa show at midday and is expected to fly back to Nairobi soon after. It is understood the preachers, like Coast MPs, had been advised of the President’s tight schedule and told they may not have much time to hold discussions with him. Full Story
