The terror threat means stepped up security on Metro North and Amtrak trains here in Connecticut. Commuters saw that beefed up presence this morning. So far so good here at Union Station. Things are running smoothly. Patrol teams were in early preparing for a long day on the rails. Outfitted with gas masks around their waists, teams of State Troopers and National Guard members boarded the trains at Union Station in New Haven today.
