Colombian anti-narcotics police seized more than four tons of cocaine at a rightist militia camp-refinery in the nation’s northwest, authorities said Friday. The rightist faction operating in the zone is one of the militia units that balked at entering into peace talks with the government along with the paramilitary umbrella organization. A man was arrested at a checkpoint near the lab, which National Police say was supervised by armed men who fled when they saw the anti-drug squad approaching. The complex, holding 4,448 kilos of the drug, was discovered outside the village of Los Mellitos, near Necocli not far from the border with Panama. Full Story
