A longtime associate with al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden surrendered to Saudi Arabian officials Tuesday, a Saudi Interior Ministry official said. After giving himself up at the Saudi Embassy in Tehran, Iran, Khaled al-Harbi was flown to Saudi Arabia. “He was a big fish,” one Saudi official said of al-Harbi, who was believed to have been living near the Afghan-Iranian border before his surrender.
