President Bush said Greece is making good progress in improving security against a terrorist attack at the Summer Olympics and expressed disappointment Thursday that his re-election campaign would keep him away from Athens. Bush met in the Oval Office with Greek Premier Costas Caramanlis and they continued their talks over a lunch of black sea bass and potatoes in lemon, olive oil and tomato butter sauce. There have been widespread concerns about Greece’s ability to provide security during the Aug. 13-29 Olympics. “We are doing everything humanly possible in terms of energy, resources (and) professionals to secure really successful games,” Caramanlis said. “I’m confident that we’ll succeed.
