Police in the United Arab Emirates arrested a man suspected of links to a security threat that temporarily shut down the U.S. embassy Wednesday. The U.S. mission suspended operations after what it called a specific threat in the Gulf Arab state, a commercial hub so far unscathed by militant violence. “Police arrested a man after the embassy was shut due to the security threat,” an embassy spokesman said. “He is being interrogated by the police in the capital Abu Dhabi.” The spokesman declined to give further details about the suspect.
