A week-long siege of Islamic militants in Yemen has ended with the surrender of eight men including six suspects in the 2000 attack on the USS Cole warship, a government official said Monday. “We believe we have six more suspects in the Cole bombing,” said the official, who told reporters the siege ended late on Sunday. He said some wanted men had managed to escape the standoff in the remote mountainous province of Abyan, despite being surrounded by security forces. Full Story
