Cheney Warns Against Complacency on Terrorism

Vice President Dick Cheney delivered a somber warning Wednesday about the dangers facing the United States, telling the Los Angeles World Affairs Council that America must not be complacent about the continuing threat of terrorist attacks. The vice president hailed recent events such as the capture of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein and Libya’s decision to abandon its nuclear weapons program.
