The Indian government has asked Kashmir separatist groups to attend their first high-level talks next week, the leader of a separatist umbrella group told The Associated Press on Tuesday. Molvi Abbas Ansari, chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, said the grouping of religious and political parties received a faxed invitation to discuss “various points related to Kashmir” with India’s deputy prime minister, Lal Krishna Advani, on Jan. 22.
