A U.S. Black Hawk helicopter which crashed in central Iraq two days ago killing all nine soldiers on board was shot down by guerrillas, the U.S. military said on Saturday after a preliminary investigation. “The investigation has not concluded,” military spokesman Brigadier-General Mark Kimmitt told reporters. “But preliminary reports are that the helicopter was shot down by ground fire.” Full Story
