Director General, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Maj. General Shaukat Sultan has said the possibility of involvement of foreign hand in Chaklala bridge blast cannot be ruled out. May be there is some foreign hand behind it he said. He said the real perpetrators of the incident cannot be pinpointed at the moment but it is clearly a terrorist act, he told BBC Radio. He said there are certain people opposed to President Musharraf’s policy to make the country move ahead towards progress and bring an end to extremism. Those elements might have made this attempt, he added. To a question he said, whatever security lapse was there, would come to light in investigations. Full Story
