U.S. authorities have deported a man accused of killing three women in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez, the Mexican attorney general’s office said Tuesday. Felipe de Jesus Machado Reyes was taken Monday to Ciudad Juarez from El Paso, Texas, where he was being held on drug charges. In Mexico, Machado is wanted in the deaths of three women whose bodies were discovered in July near Ciudad Juarez. The women, including Machado’s wife, had last been seen with him, police said. Nearly 100 women have been killed in a similar manner in Ciudad Juarez in the last decade. Often they have been sexually abused and their bodies dumped in the desert.
