Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will ask the cabinet on Sunday to approve a deal with Hizbullah whereby Israel will receive Elhanan Tannenbaum and the bodies of three kidnapped IDF soldiers – Benny Avraham, Adi Avitan, and Omar Sawayid – in exchange for some 400 prisoners, including Lebanese prisoners with “blood on their hands.” However, government sources say details of the deal have not yet been finalized, and the cabinet will be asked to approve only its basic principles. Initial reports reveal that at least three Lebanese men included in the swap actively participated in attacks against Israel.
