Terror Poses 'Massive' Risk at Sea -UK Sources
Navies of the world have ramped up security against suicide bombers, now that terrorists pose a greater threat at sea than rogue states, according to British defense sources. The sources told Reuters that kamikaze pilots could attack from the air, attackers could ram explosive-laden boats into warships, lorry bombers could strike in port and even a jet-ski could disguise a deadly extremist in a busy shipping channel. “Suicide bombers are a huge issue for us,” said a Royal Navy officer in a key command position on a front-line vessel.
