The retired Canadian Judge who is examining allegations of collusion on both sides of the Northern Ireland border has presented four reports to the British and Irish Governments. Judge Peter Cory presented his reports on Tuesday to Secretary of State Paul Murphy in London before delivering two further reports to Taoiseach Bertie Ahern in Dublin. The killings he has been examining are some of the most controversial of the last 25 years of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. The four reports presented to the British Government were into the murders of Catholic solicitors Rosemary Nelson and Pat Finucane, loyalist leader Billy Wright and Portadown father of two Robert Hamill. The two reports given to the Irish Government involved the murders of Royal Ulster Constabulary officers Supt Bob Buchanan and Chief Supt Harry Breen, and Lord Justice Sir Maurice Gibson and his wife Cecily.
