The skeletal remains of an Israeli bus blown up by a Palestinian suicide bomber will go on display at a Jewish culture fair in New York beside exhibits that promote tourism for Israel, officials said Friday. The suicide bomber killed 19 people on the Egged bus in Jerusalem in June 2002, leaving the vehicle a charred wreck. Hundreds of Israelis have been killed in suicide bombings and other attacks since the start of a three-year-old Palestinian uprising for statehood. Zaka, a group of mainly ultra-Orthodox Jewish volunteers who collect and identify bodies of people killed in attacks in Israel, will ship the bus to New York to be part of an exhibit on the group at the biannual Jewish Expo fair in December.
