A Saudi man wanted by Washington is also on a list of 19 suspected al Qaeda members sought by Saudi Arabia for planning attacks in the kingdom, a Saudi police official said Tuesday. The FBI Friday issued “Seeking Information” alerts on its Web site for Adnan G. El Shukrijumah, Abderraouf Jdey, Karim El Mejjati and Saudi national Zubayr al-Rimi, saying they may be connected to possible threats against the United States. The FBI would not say if the four men had ties to al Qaeda. The Saudi official told Reuters that Zubayr al-Rimi was an alias for Zubayr al-Qahtani, a fugitive being sought by Riyadh. “As far as we are aware from the pictures published by the FBI, he is Zubayr al-Qahtani who is on the list of 19 wanted people,” the source said.
