North Korea represents the most serious threat to global efforts to stem the proliferation of nuclear weapons, the head of the United Nation’s nuclear watchdog agency warned. “In my view, the situation in the DPRK (North Korea) is currently the most immediate and most serious threat to the nuclear non-proliferation regime,” said Mohamed ElBaradei, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
