Security in the South African capital city of Pretoria is tight in anticipation of US President George W Bush’s arrival in the country tomorrow night. Several streets between his hotel in Arcadia and the Union Buildings have been sealed off for the week. Bush will meet President Thabo Mbeki on Wednesday. Minister of Trade and Industry, Alec Erwin, South Africa will push hard to ensure that the problematic area of US agricultural subsidies and market access are concluded in a way that will be benefit both the US and Southern African countries.
