Indian security forces shot dead four Muslim militants in restive Indian-administered Kashmir, a police spokesman said. He said Saturday Indian troops shot the militants during a fierce encounter in the village of Hari Buddha in the southern district of Poonch, which borders Pakistan-administered Kashmir. The fighting erupted when troops moved into the village on a tip-off that militants were present in the area. “Militants opened fire to break the cordon.
