The police have arrested four suspected members of a terrorist group that planned to bomb embassies and resorts in Thailand, officials said today. They said three Thai men were arrested today in a Muslim-dominated southern province and that a Singaporean was arrested in Bangkok on May 16 and handed over the next day to authorities in Singapore. The officials said the men were members of Jemaah Islamiyah, a terrorist organization that is active in Southeast Asia and believed to have been behind the bombing of two nightclubs in Bali last October that killed 202 people.
