Philippine Foreign Secretary Blas Ople reminded the new Iraqi Ambassador to the Philippines to closely monitor staff and embassy personnel to avoid the incident when the previous Iraq ambassador was expelled from the country because of his links with local terrorist operating in the Philippines. This development came in the wake of the US released of a list of over 300 Iraqis believed to be deployed by Saddam all over the world to attack US interests when war erupted.
