The Indonesian government has vowed to push ahead with its military offensive against separatist rebels in Aceh Province, the Foreign Ministry said today. The foreign minister, Hassan Wirayuda, told a meeting of ambassadors that Indonesia had pursued negotiations with the Free Aceh Movement for three years, and was not prepared to revive the talks.
