Palyh, the mass-mailing worm that disguises itself as an email from Microsoft, is continuing to spread – threatening web users across the world. The worm, which arrives via email or shared networks, is programmed to disappear at the end of this month but has already caused havoc over the last few days. Palyh is now second in the list of viruses most frequently detected by anti-virus company Panda Software and has already infected over 130 countries including Belgium, China, Spain, Portugal and Venezuela. Panda Software has also detected a new and dangerous worm, called Petik.N, which spreads mainly via shared network drives and overwrites all files on your computer. Full Story
