Panic gripped the high security Parliament House area on Tuesday, when a man armed with a pistol was found moving near a gate of the building and was arrested immediately. Rajesh Rathore, aged around 30 years, was nabbed near Gata No 3, on Raisina Road at around 1200 hours, Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi district) Manoj Lall said. Rathore was taken in for joint interrogation by intelligence agencies and police. An air pistol along with two live cartridges were recovered from him. Preliminary investigations revealed that Rathore hails from Baroda in Gujarat and arrived in Delhi on Tuesday by Jammu Express. Married with three children, Rathore is a driver by profession and seems to be a vagabond. He had allegedly had a fight with his family members and was thrown out, Lall added. Full Story
