Two Afghan deminers were wounded, one critically, in an ambush in southern Afghanistan on Thursday, the fourth attack targeting demining agencies in the past month, a local official said. The deminers were ambushed while driving through the Sathi Kandaw pass between the southeastern provinces of Paktia and Khost, Haji Hayatullah, a official of the Khost provincial government, told Reuters.
