The credibility of the government’s main witness in the terror trial of four Arab men was challenged today in federal court here by a former jailhouse neighbor. The witness, Youssef Hmimssa, has described the four defendants in the case as an ambitious terror cell planning a wide range of attacks. But a man who once occupied a cell next to Mr. Hmimssa, Omar Shishani, 48, testified today that Mr. Hmimssa told him he did not know that the defendants were terrorists and only wanted revenge because he disliked them and because they had stolen from him.
