Lawyers for accused Sept. 11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui have subpoenaed the CIA for timelines tracing activities of the suicide hijackers and other al-Qaida figures, court documents disclosed Tuesday. It also was revealed that Moussaoui, who is acting as his own lawyer, has questioned at least three witnesses: an alleged Malaysian terrorist leader jailed in Singapore, his former roommate, and the imam at an Oklahoma mosque he attended. The papers indicated that Moussaoui was permitted to directly question Faiz Bafana, apparently via a videotaped teleconference. But it gave few details of the deposition of Bafana, an allegedly key operative of the regional terror network Jamaah Islamiyah, which has been loosely affiliated with al-Qaida. Full Story
