Six men suspected of links with Osama Bin Laden’s al-Qaeda network are being questioned in Pakistan. At least one of the suspects is believed to be linked with the October 2000 suicide bomb attack on an American destroyer, the USS Cole, in Yemen which killed 17 US sailors. Yemeni national Walid Mohammad bin Attash, also known as Tawfiq bin Attash, was arrested along with the other men in a raid in Karachi on Tuesday. Investigators hope to gather more information leading to further arrests in Pakistan’s anti-al-Qaeda operation. A spokesman for the Interior Ministry, Brigadier Javed Cheema, told AFP news agency: “They are still with us. We are investigating them right now.” Full Story
