The Department of Defense has awarded EDS a two-year, $258 million contract to upgrade the Pentagon’s information technology infrastructure under the Command Communications Survivability Program. The contract’s intent is to ensure the Pentagon’s IT infrastructure can withstand an attack. The CCSP also addresses the redundancy and recoverability of data.
