Several key suspects in the Bali blasts were also involved in bombing the Philippine ambassador’s residence in Jakarta in August 2000, police said Tuesday. Jakarta police spokesman Sr. Comr. Prasetyo named nine suspects in the residence bombing which killed two people and injured 20 others including the envoy, Leonides Caday. “The nine include several suspects in the Bali bombing, including Hambali, Amrozi, Mubarok and Dulmatin,” Prasetyo told AFP. Amrozi was the first man arrested after the Bali bombings while Mubarok was detained in January. Hambali, the alleged former head of the Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) regional terror network, and Dulmatin, who is believed to have helped assemble the Balibombs, are still on the run. Full Story
