The House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly on Thursday to approve two anti-terrorism decrees which were rushed through in thewake of last October’s deadly Bali bombing. Members voted to give the decrees — which authorise the death penalty for some terrorist acts and detention without trial — the status of a law, AFP reported. The cabinet issued the decrees last October 18, six days after bombs ripped through crowded nightspots and killed 202 people — mostly foreign tourists. Full Story
