AN explosion rocked Tagum City in Davao del Norte, about an hour after a bomb blast shattered the passenger terminal of the Davao International Airport, leaving at least 17 dead and scores wounded, many of them in serious condition, according to reports. At least three persons suffered slight wounds from the blast, Tagum City police chief Superintendent Marcelo Pinlac said over radio dzBB. Tagum City is about 70 kilometers from Davao City. Pinlac said witnesses said a man was overheard warning employees at the health office about an explosion in the area. “Minutes later, there was an explosion,” the city police chief said. Full Story
