Microsoft is introducing a new home-user version of its free e-mail security news alert service for non-technical users. The Microsoft Security Update newsletter will include information on new product patches and security issues, the company said Tuesday. Microsoft intends the newsletter to complement its five-year-old Microsoft Security Notification Service, which is aimed at IT professionals and offers detailed technical information on security problems and recommended solutions.
