U.S. officials have seized $22.8 million since Sept. 11 that they say was destined for terrorist organizations and criminal enterprises worldwide. “One of the most important things to weaken and ultimately destroy international terrorist organizations is to cripple and cut off their ability to sustain themselves,” U.S. Customs Commissioner Robert Bonner said Wednesday.
