In what is billed as one of the first efforts of its kind, a Dallas university is teaming up with local and federal crime experts to establish a new institute aimed at fighting cybercrime. The University of Texas at Dallas is forming the Digital Forensics and Security Institute with the Greater Dallas Crime Commission, in an effort that also involves the nonprofit National White Collar Crime Center.
